packaging needs improvement

I bought 2 of these for Christmas gifts -- they are the team colors and logo -- can't wait to see the faces of recipients when they receive them. I don't know why they came in 2 boxes. The spinners are about 1/4-1/2 inch high (flattened out), but each was in a box 8 inches high, with no packing material in it. Don't know why they couldn't have been in same box with packing material -- would have saved postage. I'm just glad there was no damage to either the boxes or the spinners.
